Graduate Accountant - Pharma Sector

Our client is a pharmaceutical company with a global presence and Headquarters in Dublin 24. They are currently looking to appoint an ambitious recently qualified graduate with 6 to 12 months finance experience to join their finance department. Description Role Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be trained in all aspects of month end and be given responsibility at an early stage. Responsibilities: Reviewing and analysing detailed financial information Vat/VIES returns Stock Reconciliations Intercompany analysis Collate and summarise operational and financial information from various sources within the company for onward reporting and circulation to tight deadlines Preparing and posting month end journals Assist with monthly reconciliation process as part of month end close (balance sheet and intercompany) Monthly budget vs. actual reporting Assisting in the development of reports & reporting processes Assist in preparation of annual budget process and forecasting process. Profile Background You should have a 3 rd level qualification ideally gained in finance, accounting or economics. You should enjoy working on your own initiative and have strong communication skills.
