About the role
Our Front Reception/ Admissions area is in need of people interested in part time work. Expect to answer a range of questions and give plenty of directions to visitors to our site. With queries covering for instance where to park or where to find a ward, you will quickly become familiar with the facilities and their locations at our site as you provide help. Along the way you will offer a warm and friendly approach. As well as customer contact, we will need your help to entry data into our Patient Information System. You will also take telephone calls and assist with patient admissions, as well as the transfer and discharge of our patients.
Applicants will need to be available 7 days per week between the hours 6:30am and 8:00pm to work a variety of shifts. Your role will encompass working throughout our Patient Services / Admissions departments at both Dandenong Hospital and Kingston Centre. We will at times need your help in replacing others who are on leave. Sometimes this can be at short notice as a result of sick leave being taken. So flexibility is important.
What you need
We welcome any health experience, in for example your knowledge of health terminologies. Above all, we are looking for a friendly and positive person who is at ease in a busy environment.
