Description

  • The Finance Manager will lead the efficient delivery of the charity's financial processing and reporting, including processing all income, expenditure, payroll, VAT and related activities.
  • They will produce the monthly management accounts for budget holders and the Board, as well as all information required for the statutory accounts at year end.
  • They will work closely with budget holders and the internal teams to understand and address any financial issues and requirements they have.
  • The role will manage a Finance Assistant to help deliver this remit and will report to the Finance Director.
  • To lead the efficient delivery of financial processing, including income, expenditure, payroll, VAT and related activities.
  • To coordinate the financial planning and monitoring process, working with budget holders, management and trustees, to ensure financial control and effective decision making.
  • To support the fundraising team through providing financial information for projects, for funding bids and reporting to funders.

    The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position:

    • Qualified Accountant
    • Experience of producing budgets, forecasts and financial management reports.
    • Experience of managing payroll and producing management accounts.
