Page Personnel are currently partnered with a fantastic international retail business who are looking for an Accountant to join the Finance team based in Doncaster.

My client is an international, listed company and a market leader within the retail sector. Based in Doncaster, they are an incredibly interesting organisation and have recently partnered with some major players within their market. They have a fantastic culture and are committed to their employees development. They are now looking for an Accountant in their Doncaster site.

Description

The successful person will be responsible for; but not limited to: Preparing the accounts for month-end and closing this by the set deadlines; Performing balance sheet reconciliations; Providing variance analysis and noticing trends within the management accounts; Managing the year end audit; Preparation of statutory accounts and overseeing tax responsibilities; Liaising with various finance & non-finance stakeholders, preparing the P&L, budgeting and forecasting and Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Profile

As the successful candidate for this role you will:

• Be currently studying ACCA or CIMA
• Have strong communication skills
• Be comfortable liaising with different levels of the business
• Demonstrate experience of working in a team
