Management Accountant

Our client is an international manufacturing organisation based in Alfreton, with more than impressive growth statistics. With a large open plan office, you will be situated within a profound working culture that promotes co-operation to achieve the company's collective goals. Due to the nature of your role in costing, a lot of your time will also be spent on the site floor with operations.

There is parking on site and easy transport links from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and some areas of Lincolnshire.

Description

Your key responsibilities and duties within this role shall include:

• Setting up and maintenance of Items and Bills of Material (BOM)

• Analysing labour costs

• Overhead analysis and commentary

• Liaising with operations senior stakeholders to determine effectiveness of process

• Liaising with budget holders to provide commentary and analysis of all costs involved

• Assist in preparation of weekly accounts, including materials usage variance analysis, gross margin analysis and labour summaries & analysis

Profile

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual, looking to achieve their next step in their career with a Management Accounts position. You will be ideally studying towards CIMA/ACCA but if you are QBE with costing knowledge, you will also be strongly considered. You will have a good understanding of the different elements that need to be considered in a manufacturing organisation in regards to costs. You will need to have a confident approach to key stakeholders within the business and have the appropriate ability to challenge.

Job Offer

Our client is offering a salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 for the right individual to fill this role. Study support may also be considered to finalise any remaining exams to then ensure future progression within the business.
