A new Management Accountant position to join a large Finance team based in Witney.
Client Details
Well established Organisation with an expanding Finance function based in Witney.
Description
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will consist of the following:
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Reviewing the Profit & Loss accounts down to cost centre level for the head office functions.
- Investigating variances and adding useful commentary for the month end packs.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation for monthly review of P&L and balance sheet with reconciliations.
- Assisting with the year end audit and the annual budget process.
- Financial reporting when needed as well as related project work.
- Assisting with continuous process improvements.
Profile
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a management accountant or similar role. They will also ideally be studying toward their ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Prior experience taking the lead on accruals and prepayments is important.
