Oil Trader, Petroleum Products including LPG and LNG, Physical and Paper Trader, Location: Singapore

We are currently working with a market leading Oil & Gas trading house, based in Singapore seeking a self-starter and self-motivated Senior Oil trader to join their trading team in Singapore. The candidate chosen shall be responsible for running your own book and cutting your own deals.

This role is more in Physical trading, and some paper for hedging and speculative purposes.

Oil Trader, Petroleum Products including LPG and LNG, Physical and Paper Trader, Location: Singapore
• Oil & Gas trading
• Analysis of S&D curve
• Manage and run a profitable oil trading book
• Prepare and analyse reports and charts to generate profits
• Daily monitoring of open trading positions to ensure risk management and credit limit exposures are in line with company's policies and procedures
• Add success and profitability - must have a profitable track record
• Excellent communications with core suppliers and market players to get first hand news

Requirements
• Must Speak English, Mandarin will be a plus as you will be dealing with APAC region
• An entrepreneurial third party trader (not so much of systems trader)
• 5-8 + years of Industry experience in oil trading at least (more is welcome)
• Degree Holder ideally in related industry
• Proven ability to understand and manage risk associated with a large physical book
• Strong risk appetite & discipline, SnD Analysis and Strong Numerical & Analytical Skills
• Entrepreneurial go-getter individual
