Description

Senior Financial Accountant role joining part of the core finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for a range of activities in this highly diverse role which combines technical accounting and commercial exposure. You will be preparing month end figures in line with IFRS, the statutory accounts and be the principal point of contact for the year end audit; but as the Financial Accountant you will also be looking at contract accounting and revenue recognition, allocating costs to various projects, prepare budgets and forecasts and conduct analysis of performance against these figures.

• Ensure the accurate and timely filing of audited accounts, tax computations, VAT returns and other governmental returns

• Assisting preparation and review of corporate tax computations

• Month end close responsibilities - ensuring accurate accounting for the UK business

Profile

For this Financial Accountant role we are looking for someone who may be recently qualified (ACA,ACCA, andCIMA). Your most recent work will involve financial and technical accounting.
