Auditor

Diverse role for a Qualified Accountant to work in the Audit department of a Public Sector organisation Do you want to work with a leading Public Sector organisation based in Dublin City Centre ? Although initially a 12 month fixed term contract, this may be extended Reporting to a Head of Audit working as part of a team of Qualified Financial Accountants/Auditors. you will review the accounting systems and related internal controls of various entities which will involve an assessment of financial returns and carrying out verification of expenditure details. You will review the implementation of agreed procedures and assist with identified risk audits.You will also prepare reports on conclusions and/or recommendations and conduct meetings during the course of the audit/verification process. You will review annual financial statements, provide information and guidance regarding EU and public accountability requirements too Ideally you will be a practice trained Qualified Accountant with good audit experience and possess strong analytical & inter-personal skills.
