The role:
Operating for over 50 years, our client is now Australia's largest privately owned cost and project consultancy. They are at the forefront of Australia's most advanced and complex developments and programmes. They work in collaboration with government, private and public organisations to deliver continuity of service, with outstanding results.
They are seeking a Finance/Office Administrator to join their team for a temporary 8 week contract. The date of the contract is from 7th May through to the 29th June. If you are an experienced Administrator that is looking for a few weeks work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Roles and responsibilities:
- General administration and reception duties
- Manage phone calls and all correspondence (emails, letters etc)
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Drafting and finalising of fee accounts and maintaining records
- Managing Accounts Payable, debtors and staff expense claims
- Proof reading of reports and other documents
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager with Quality Assurance procedures, undertake internal audits and oversee Quality Assurance processes
- Filing and archiving of all documents
- Updating CRM
- Prepare slides and notes for company intranet monthly meetings
- Assist in planning and arranging events as needed
- Maintain stock lists and order office supplies as needed
- General Office maintenance
- Proven work experience as a Finance/Office Administrator, Finance/Office Assistant or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Time-management and organisation skills
- Confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task
