Our client is a leading investment bank, based in London.
They are looking for an equity research analyst to cover the european leisure sector.
You'll be working in the European equity research team in London. The team is highly ranked in external investor surveys and prides itself on producing differentiated, proactive industry and stock-specific research.
The role will involve writing pieces of equity research on major hotel groups, restaurant chains and other listed businesses.
You will convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions and build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections. You will provide your clients with investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments, and remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies
You will have a background as follows:
- experience in equity research - we are happy to consider people who are interested in movng from another sector
- possibly someone from another background who could quickly progress in the role, perhaps with a background in investment banking, consulting, accounting
- a real interest in financial markets
