One of our accountancy practice clients is currently undergoing some exciting changes. The business is rapidly growing and they are expanding their team. They have a number of offices throughout Yorkshire.

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing Professional Accountancy firm who have a number of offices across Yorkshire.
Due to the firm continuing to win new business and therefore expanding their client base they are looking to recruit four individuals into their team in Gainsborough.

One of these positions is for an Audit Senior however as the business is expanding they are in a position where they can recruit individuals at all levels within the audit department.
This is a great opportunity to move to a firm who are expanding and can therefore offer an exciting career, a varied client base, plenty of opportunity to move into different specialisms or progress into a more senior role.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide a range of assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast-growing clients to large corporate entities. The client base is however predominantly SMEs, across all industry sectors.

Duties will include:-

*Taking ownership for the delivery of high quality audit work.

*Performing audit procedures in complex areas, developing your technical competence.

*Delivering excellent service, as the primary day-to-day contact for the client.

*Supervising the execution of technical audit areas.

*Demonstrating professional scepticism and compliance with risk management and independence policies.

*Developing yourself and others through both seeking and offering on-the-job coaching and knowledge sharing.

*Building strong credibility through displaying relevant insight and business acumen in discussions with clients and applying technical competence.

*Managing a portfolio of external audit clients under the supervision of the Audit Manager.

*Assisting the Audit Manager in organising resourcing, monitoring the financial performance and ensuring that key deadlines are met for each audit.

*Planning and completion of audits.

*Managerial responsibilities for a team of Audit Semi Seniors and Audit Juniors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step up from Audit Semi-Senior to Senior and will be looking to continue progressing in the future.

Candidates will be:-

*ACA or ACCA part qualified (or qualified by experience).

*Experience working within the Professional Accountancy sector.

*Experience working with a broad client base, ideally SMEs.

*Client focused and possess, excellent organisation, time management skills.

*Achieves successful outcomes through clear and effective communications and the ability to relate to others.

*Independent thinker with the ability to derive alternative solutions to problems.
