Commercial Management Accountant

My client a prestigious organisation located in Uxbridge is looking to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant due to growth within their Finance Function. The will provide accurate financial and decision support to the business though management accounting, defined reporting and review, business planning and control mechanisms.

Responsibilities include:

* Produce accurate management accounts within month-end timetable
* Ownership of area business planning process, production and accuracy
* Design and implement new controls and processes within finance
* Support operational managers in understanding their financial performance
* Challenge operational managers performance in a constructive way
* Proactively support Regional Manager / Directors providing information and analysis in order to effectively challenge planning assumptions and outputs
* Deliver accurate, relevant reporting in a timely fashion
* Design and deliver new reporting (financial and non-financial)
* Provide insightful commentary drawing meaningful conclusions
* Preparation of non-routine reports
* Build models to evaluate alternative courses of action
* Oral presentation of reports to business
* Completes balance sheet reconciliations
* Area adherence to capex policy
* This role will have direct stakeholder management and will need to form close working relationships with

Contract Managers, Regional Managers, Operations Director, Group Finance, wider Finance Team and the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or equivalent with excellent communication skills. You will have a professional and methodical approach; sound systems experience coupled with string MS Excel skills.
