Corporate Tax Assistant Manager Search Consultancy is currently recruiting a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for a Scottish Top 10 CA firm based in Glasgow. As Assistant Manager you will support the senior management in technical tax matters, managing a portfolio of diverse clients across various sectors. Our client is one the most highly reputable firms in Scotland, acclaimed for their business approach innovation whilst also providing excellent development opportunities and exposure. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting the team in all corporate tax matters * Managing a portfolio of diverse clients from a range of sectors, including automotive, healthcare and family businesses * Acting as a point of contact for client requests, keeping them well informed of progress in all aspects of the tax service provided * Attendance at client meetings * Provision of training to junior members of the team through mentoring and assessment activities * Identifying new business development opportunities Required Skills/Knowledge: * ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified * 4+ years of experience in corporate tax matters from a public practice environment is essential * Strong technical reporting skills * Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written * Business development aptitude * The ability to work to deadlines and deliver high-quality, accurate work Are you looking for the next big step in your career and to work for a business with an inclusive and lively culture?
