JOB TITLE: Compliance Manager
PQE REQUIRED: At least 3 years experience in the legal sector
LOCATION: Bristol
SALARY: Dependant on experience
THE ROLE:
The newly appointed Compliance Manager will join the management team of this reputable law firm and take responsibility for all aspects of compliance and auditing within the firm. This exceptional opportunity will see the successful Compliance manager advise the board on strategic and critical regulatory and compliance matters, monitor risk trends and compliance developments and ensure that the firm complies with all SRA, Lexcel and general regulatory obligations. A few duties that the Compliance Manager will have exposure to will be; monitor changes in the law and ensure all staff are updated, organise or deliver regular training, arrange new starter training, and liaise with both the Data Protection Officer and Money Laundering Officer on matters of concern.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Compliance Manager will work closely with the firms management team and enjoy a varied and challenging workload including attainment and maintenance of quality mark assessments including Lexcel, advising on regulatory change, developing best practice, advising on training and development and monitoring compliance.
