Our Human Resources team are currently looking for a payroll specialist to fill a six month contract to carry out the key steps in our payroll process as well as the relevant personnel/admin tasks required. Scope of the role includes:
Administering the payment of wages and salaries for fortnightly and monthly paid staff - approx. 580
Record maintenance and compliance with all payroll related statutory requirements including payroll tax, superannuation and work cover insurance
Year end reconciliation
Responding to and following up on all payroll related matters in a timely and accurate manner.
We welcome your ability to hit the ground running with your skills and experience in payroll and compliance, interpreting awards and policies, management reporting and a competent working knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems (Rockfast advantageous). Additional experience in reviewing and implementing improved processes will be helpful.
