Credit Controller

A growing insurance company in the heart of Romford are seeking a Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Full time position offering a competitive salary, along with a collaborative and friendly working environment.

You will have your own set of clients to manage and work in a small Credit Control team and report into a hands on Credit Manager who is happy to train you.

My client are a local Insurance organisation who are rapidly growing. Their Head office is based in the heart of Romford where this role will be based, sitting within a small Credit Control team and managing your own set of clients.

Description

• Credit control for a portfolio of brokers to ensure debt is collected
• Managing and reconciling accounts
• Contact brokers that have over due debt
• Update the debtor ledger with responses
• Daily cashiering
• Checking receipts
• Monthly Credit Control meetings with underwriters
• Contact banks with any queries that may arise
• Assist your Manager with holiday cover and ad hoc duties

• A background in Credit Control is essential
• Proficient with Excel is essential
• Team player who is happy to learn and muck in
• Hard working person who is able to prioritise
• Strong communication skills
• Local to Romford
