Business Analyst

12 month fixed term contract - Education institution - Must be skilled at all phases of project lifecycle

Your new company
A leading education body based in the Melbourne city fringe is requiring a Business Analyst for a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Your new role
Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks at every stage of a CMS project from requirements gathering to managing the development and release of developer code. Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Support the ICT Manager with all aspects of the delivery of technical projects
• Perform the combined roles of Project Manager and Business Analyst on small projects as required.
• To document the requirements for development, prepare tests to ensure the solution fulfills the requirements and to perform user acceptance testing

What you'll need to succeed
This is an important role for the organisation and as such will need someone who is adept at a number of critical BA skills. These include the following:

• Process mapping
• Business requirements for software development
• Test plans and training materials
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills
• Thorough project experience
