An exciting opportunity within Aerospace Defence sector has arisen for a Regional Finance Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
As a Finance Business Partner responsible for the Middle East region, you will work in partnership with the Defence HQ finance team to ensure the regional office meet their objectives and ensure Rolls-Royce Group, local reporting and governance requirements are met.
We're the second largest global provider of defence aero-engine products and services globally with 16,000 engines in the service of 160 customers in 100 countries. Our engines power aircraft in every major sector, including: transport, combat, patrol, trainers, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The role is based in Riyadh and reports functionally to the Financial Controller of Defence Satellite Facilities, and operationally to the CEO of Rolls-Royce Saudi Arabia Ltd.
Key Accountabilities:
- Constructively challenge, influence and coach business leaders on business performance, acting as both 'sounding board' and 'sparring partner'.
- Prepare all statutory and Group financial and management reporting and ensure tax reporting is accurate and submitted to statutory deadlines.
- Ensure subsidiaries' compliance with all regional regulatory legislation, avoiding the risk of exposure to any violations.
- Ensure appropriate accounting principles and policies (internal and external) are applied consistently across all aspects of work for existing and projected business.
- Drive the business to achieve its goals via active engagement with the business leaders, and use financial data to understand performance and provide challenge and support to the business with decision support analysis.
- In conjunction with the business leaders, prepare budgets and forecasts and evaluate future business opportunities, make proposals/recommendations and support the tendering process.
