Client Details

A well known company, are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their Sales Ledger team, based in Crewe.

I am looking for a confident, hard working candidate who has experience in accounts; or is numerically minded. Similarly, if you are a graduate with a numerical degree and live in the area, this is a fantastic opportunity.


As an Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Sales Ledger Manager, responsible for assisting with the effective running of the Sales Ledger function.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: process credit account application forms; processing discount card application forms; updating spreadsheets that record applications received; opening and maintaining customer accounts; preparing and send out welcome packs; card maintenance; processing and posting sundry invoices and credit notes; filing and archiving; responding to and resolving queries via telephone, email and letter; assist the credit control team when required.


The successful candidate will be:

  • A professional, confident communicator – Essential
  • Have stong IT skills, particularly MS Excel – Essential
  • Have good organisation and administrative skills – Essential
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – Essential
  • Have knowledge of working in a Sales Ledger/Accounts role – Highly Beneficial
