Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk for a large FMCG.
Your new role
In your new role as Accounts Payable clerk you will be working in a Finance team but reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager. You will be responsible for matching, batching and coding purchase ledger invoices on the Accounting system working closely with Managers and Senior Management Teams to resolve any queries they might have. You will need to prepare and send payment runs plus ad hoc payments as and when required. You will also need to set up and validate any news suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant accounts payable/purchase ledger experience. You will need to be a team player with a flexible attitude, excellent communication skills and be a highly organised individual. Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and word and accounting software is essential.
