We are seeking a high–calibre Finance Manager who is looking to pursue a rewarding career in a dynamic high–growth company. Dealing with key stakeholders in the business, communication with all levels of management is key including external stakeholders such as private–equity investors, banks, and 3rd party advisors.

Description

This is a new hands–on role requiring technical expertise as well as the ability to meet reporting deadlines. As part of the senior management team, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for day to day aspects of the finance function including financial and management reporting, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and the management and delivery of internal controls and business processes.

The Finance Manager will also be able to actively contribute to the commercial success of the company by understanding the value–creating activity of the company and ensuring effective and relevant information is provided for decision making

This is a hands–on role requiring technical expertise as well as the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines. Key duties will include:

  • The production of management accounts and board pack.
  • A monthly cash flow and working capital forecast.
  • Set up of internal controls.
  • Production of financial statements and liaison with auditors.
  • Management of treasury funds and day to day cash.
  • Inventory control and BoM management.
  • While the business is still embryonic, the set up and ownership of HR procedures

Profile

You will be big 4 trained & ACA qualified (ideally first time exam passes) with 2–7 years post qualified experience. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will part of the senior management team and interacting with investors on a regular basis.

You must be capable of taking ownership of key support areas outside of finance such as insurances, HR and IT while helping to implement a system and financial controls.

You must have the desire and skills to step up to CFO position when the time is right.
