I am currently working for a wonderful Theatre Company who are recruiting a Finance Manager, able to deal with all the accountancy functions up to Trial Balance, and of course including Royalty Payments.

Finance Manager
GBP22,000 – GBP28,000 + bonuses + rewards + weekly team lunch + office chocolate!
Central London, within prestigious London location!

This role will be working with an established organisation, leaders within the musical theatre industry, who are currently growing their new UK operation and are therefore looking for a Finance Manager who can work alongside their VP to manage all financial responsibilities for this exciting company, who are currently growing their brand presence within the UK & Europe

Key Responsibilities

– Monthly Bank Reconciliations

– Daily/weekly Processing of credit card payment: Apply to customer payment and settle against Customer sales order

– Daily/weekly Processing of Perusal payments: Apply to customer payment and settle against Finance revenue receipts

– Daily/weekly bank deposit. Use of remote deposit system or in–person at bank branch

– Daily notification to licensing staff of incoming customer wire payments

– Daily/weekly Processing of wire or check payments: Apply to customer payment and settle against Customer sales order

– Daily/weekly Processing of payables (vendors or customer refunds) and posting to proper G/L account

– Daily/weekly Update all financial transactions in the sales invoice and customer payment screens

– Daily/weekly Handle updates and maintenance of deferred revenue

– Run weekly sales report

– Run weekly reports for unmarked transactions

– Assist with the preparation of quarterly royalty statements and payments

– Liaison with the company's accounting firm for all filing and returns

Who should apply?
What we want is a highly experienced Finance Manager ideally with a real passion for the arts and all things Theatre, who can bring an analytical and organised approach to an already fantastic core team!

You will have a strong knowledge of working within a finance function with excellent knowledge of accounting practices including credits, debits, royalty payments, reconciliations, balance sheets and so much more!

You will ideally have the relevant financial qualifications with an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally QuickBooks. You will have an excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work accurately within a busy office environment.
