An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Finance Manager to join our FTSE250 organisation initially on a 3 month FTC with a view to Perm. This role will be responsible for the Apprenticeships arm of the Learning business, so any prior experience and funding knowledge is highly essential.

This role reports into the Financial Controller and will involve management of 1 or 2 offshore resources. You will be required to drive robust financial controls and improve management information, while building relationships and supporting the operational/ sales teams in find efficiencies and driving growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Business Partnering

• Full ownership of P&L for Apprenticeships business area

• Month end reporting

• Balance sheet reconciliation

• Monthly Budgeting and forecasting

• Irrecoverable VAT reporting

• Annual Business Planning

• Process improvement
  
  The role will be based in Reading, but travel to London will be required and potententially to Newcastle/ Poland very infrequently.

  Your Profile

  Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or final stage and actively studying

  We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has a can do, problem solving attitude

  Business partnering experience is essential

  Advanced Excel user
