My client, a prestigious and progressive commercial insurance product provider, is seeking an Operations Manager from a commercial insurance insurance background for their expanding and highly successful Birmingham office.
Your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the branch management team in driving broker service standards by monitoring underwriting KPI's, compliance and training projects, through to examining processes and suggesting improvements and driving change. In addition, you will be involved in IT, change and outsourcing projects, which will mean that occasional travel to other UK office locations here and abroad will be required.
This role will suit experienced team managers, operations and insurance management professionals who have a broad breadth of experience and are confident simultaneously undertaking and delivering a number of operational duties and assignments.
Strong communication and influencing skills will be required to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as a positive "can do" attitude. In addition, you will have the strength of character to suggest improvements in the business.
If you have gained people management experience during your career to date, then there is a possibility that you may incorporate this into the role as the position evolves.
