Reporting to the Accounting Manager Practice Finance, this is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated, customer orientated and deadline-driven Accounts Assistant to join our successful organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This roles would suit a recent graduate looking to start their finance career.

About the role:

• Be the first point of contact and provide exceptional customer service for any finance queries (corporate centre and to our practices)
• Data entry of financials
• Provide support to the finance team with monthly contractor payments
• Provide support to the finance team with month end preparations and reporting
• Maintain and process contractor data using PeopleSoft
• Ad hoc duties as required by the finance team

About you:

• Accounting / Financial qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable
• Excellent eye for detail and strong accuracy skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and in highly pressured situations
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Fastidious attention to detail and focused on results and outcomes
• Strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft would be highly regarded
