Description

The TTS Transformation Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful execution of some of the most strategic and pivotal initiatives that are set to transform the TTS business in Asia Pacific.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing all components relating to the program execution, setting program governance, keeping track of all related work-streams and their completion status, driving the program progress, engaging with key stakeholders to prompt actions and escalations, proactively anticipate and resolve roadblocks and challenges, to ultimately ensure overall successful outcomes of the said programs.

As these programs are of strategic importance to TTS Asia Pacific and tend to be "horizontal" in nature - unconfined to a specific product, function or process - the candidate will have the opportunity to stretch his or her multi-tasking and a broad range of management skills; gain insight across multiple TTS products; and attain exposure at country, regional and global stakeholder levels.

Notable priorities include current transformation programs in:
  • Strategic billing and pricing management, by rolling out Global Billing System in key markets in Asia Pacific
  • MIFT annihilation as part of TTS' strategic drive to be a purely digital bank for institutional clients across all Asia Pacific countries
  • Tracking of key Cash Management product scorecards items that are essential for driving revenue growth, improving client experience and driving innovation
  • Other programs that are prioritized by TTS based on evolving business needs and strategic business focus
This role reports officially to the Asia Pacific Channel and Enterprise Services Head. But depending on the chosen programs, this role will always have the support of at least one other relevant Cash Management senior as its main ally, who will provide strategic direction and necessary guidance for the duration of the said program.

To successfully perform this role, the chosen candidate is expected to exhibit the following attributes:
  • Highly competent project management professional with strong project management skills, who thrives on multi-tasking across a wide variety of programs and work-streams, including helping stakeholders assess and finalize applicable project governance, requirements, scheduling, milestones, readiness and communication plans
  • Fast learner who can quickly deep dive and grasp the essence of a program, including technical components, product features, processes and elements that "make a program tick"
  • Strong thought discipline, who approaches planning with meticulousness and enjoys working on details and considering a wide range of factors and their implications
  • Confident in interacting with stakeholders of varying seniority - at country, regional and global levels - and sensitive to diverse experiences and cultures
  • Able to make sense of data with strong analytical acumen
  • Strong "intuition" skills to forsee, highlight and ideally preempt problems before they arise - including defining requirements and issues proactively through change controls, and managing program risks in a thorough and organized manner
  • A competent "diplomat" who can persuade and influence others through solid communication and diplomacy skills, yet be an effective change agent to drive the desired outcome, partnering well with other stakeholders to gain necessary alignment - while not compromising or sacrificing the integrity and mission of the programs
  • Maintain coherent, visual and concise communications detailing the scope, progress and results of programs underway
  • Devise, track and maintain progress metrics and analyze KPIs that measure effectiveness of each stream in the migration program, with keen following-up on open items in a timely fashion to ensure project streams stay on track

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with preference for Masters
  • Qualification in program management or equivalent (PgMP/PMP/PRINCE2)
  • Proficient in use of MS Project, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management related responsibilities in a financial services institution is required, preferably in electronic channels, cash management products or technology
  • Successful track record as a change manager in a comparable environment
  • Flexibility, versatility and an ability to shepherd multiple concurrent priorities to completion, seeking guidance as necessary
  • Demonstrable success in coordinating large-scale projects involving geographically and functionally diverse stakeholders
  • Have some understanding of Cash Management products, such as Payments, Receivables, Channels and their revenue and cost drivers and / or TTS client segments (GSG, TTLC, CCB, FI and NBFI)
  • Deep analytical skills to amalgamate feedback and business validations to create viable project plan
  • Strong relationship development skills and personal credibility that influence leaders and employees across Citi, possibly attained via interactions with knowledgeable and demanding audiences at varying levels of seniority
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to succinctly and impactfully craft and convey information dissemination to management
