Our client is looking for a Part Time Finance Director to head up their finance function, working closely with the Managing Director to deliver the Company strategy.

Our client is looking for a Part Time Finance Director to head up their finance function, working closely with the Managing Director to deliver the Company strategy.
Having gained recent funding to support the growth of the business, you will be required to effectively manage external relationships through clear communication and reporting.
Description
You will be responsible for providing robust cash management and accurate financial reports, advice and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include the management and development of the finance team alongside working closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the business plan.
- Provide a robust cash management control process for the business, delivering a proactive insight on the current cash position and future outlook
- Meet bank and investor requirements for reporting and forecasting
- Provide clear financial reporting, analysis, insight and feedback to inform and influence the financial strength of the business
- Participate and engage in whole business strategy and planning to optimise the Company's financial performance and strategic position
- Develop financial and operating management information
- Motivate, develop and lead the financial team to ensure they are engaged, motivated and deliver excellent service to the business
- Manage the effective and accurate production of the financial accounts, ensuring they are delivered in line with accounting standards and business deadlines
Profile
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a clear track record of working within an SME.
Ideally have experience of managing cash within a leveraged environment
Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams successfully
Robust analysis and reporting skills; able to draw incisive conclusions from various data sources and present in a helpful way to focus decision making
Strong communication skills: Accurate, considered, persuasive and succinct, able to present confidently
Able to work well under pressure and achieving tight deadlines
