Company Accountant

ITW Engineered Polymers forms part of the Polymers and Fluids Segment and has an annual turnover of $100 million with manufacturing sites and offices across two different European countries, as well as several sites in USA.  ITW Engineered Polymers is looking to hire an experienced Company Accountant for our site in Shannon. Main duties will include: Preparation and review of monthly accounts to strict deadlines including input to Corporate system covering: Month end close of ledgers and preparation & posting of journals Maintaining accruals and reserves Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register Be the financial lead for the Shannon site, with oversight of two Assistant Accountants while acting as a Finance Business Partner to other functional areas of the business Preparation of statutory accounts to include the coordination of the annual audit process Liaise with internal and external auditors Annual budget preparation and forecasting Monitoring of all costs and preparation of variance analysis Ensure financial controls and processes are maintained in day to day activities Maintenance of ERP and other finance related systems Insurance and pension renewal data submission We are looking for a qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA only, with over five years post qualification experience and with experience in a Manufacturing facility.  Experience of a fast paced/ Multi-National environment is desirable.
