IT Audit Manager SOC Specialist

IT Audit Manager - SOC specialist My client is one of the top professional services firm in Ireland. They are currently experiencing rapid growth and wish to appoint an experienced Manager to support the ongoing development and management of the service line. This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in a rapidly growing area in professional services. The successful candidates will be part of a strong international team working in a dynamic and ever changing technical environment. The individual should have experience in assessing both technology and business risk. Main responsibilities will include: ·Acting as contract manager for ISAE 3402 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 / audit assignments ·Simultaneously managing multiple client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity ·Conducting scoping meetings and assisting with scope determination ·Overseeing the development of work programmes and test schedules ·Oversight of fieldwork including managing / guiding / reviewing junior staff ·Drafting audit reports including audit findings and recommendation ·Liaising with audit staff and client management to ensure that all aspects of the audit and compliance process are satisfactorily completed ·Managing the IT and business audit team/unit together with the other Managers, Directors and Partners ·Contributing to the development and training of audit staff ·Contributing to business development initiatives Skills and experience required in order to be considered for this role: ·Minimum of 5-6 years of experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organisation conducting business and information technology audits ·A qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) is preferred but not essential ·Previous experience managing ISAE 3402 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 / internal audits ·Self-motivated with a strong business risk and technical background ·Excellent knowledge of the ISAE 3402 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 standards or ability to obtain same. ·Excellent knowledge of technology (applications, infrastructure, best practice, security, networking, data protection and other key technology areas) ·Knowledge of best practice audit principles and practices ·Strong interest in the continued development of the ISAE 3402 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 service lines ·Internal control project management skills If you are interested in this position and meet all of the necessary requirements please apply with your CV and cover letter or contact Aoife Larkin directly.
