Mission
Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks
Business Support and Change Management
- Participate in various projects with DFIN sponsorship or involvement, including but not limited to core banking system upgrading, global GL roll-out, regulatory data repository system deployment, new accounting norm / standard implementation, etc. with responsibility over the definition of requirements, specifications and timelines, allocation of resources, preparation of the action plan, monitoring of progress and coordination with other departments
- Conduct business and process analysis (organization structure, deal processing, accounting & reporting processes, etc.)
- Document user requirements and draft functional specifications.
- Prepare and carry out implementation plan and case studies.
- Coordinate the development and simulation of new process or operational flows
- Define and follow up action plan
- Report progress and risks to the senior management team
- Liaise with different teams from all business lines for the coordination of project roll-out
- Dedicated expert on accounting schemes & standards (IFRS and CAS) for local booking NPCs with strong supports from regional finance NPC correspondents and group Norm experts
- Other assigned financial supervision tasks per management requirements, including but not limited to financial control, regulatory reporting, management reporting, cost control, staff management, etc
Profile
Academic Background
- University or Business school graduate preferably with a higher degree or with Accounting and Finance qualifications
Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how
- At least 8 years experience with a consulting / accounting firm or within a similar position in the financial industry
- Former experience(s) in commercial banking industry is a plus
- Solid product accounting skill in banking business (e.g. commercial banking business, treasury, FX and derivative products, taxation, etc.)
- Good knowledge in financial reporting of both IFRS and CAS gaaps, understand the Chinese regulatory requirements and prudential monitoring guidelines
- Ability to perform business analysis & prepare functional specifications
- Ability to investigate, analyze and explain problems, able to implement changes and to facilitate process re-engineering
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, independent with strong analytical mindset, able to manage multiple priorities and solutions simultaneously
Language Skills
- Fluent in English, Native in Mandarin
Computer Skill
- Proficient computer skills in M/S Office, Outlook, I/E, etc
Professional Qualification
- Certificates of CPA, CGA, ACCA, or CIMA preferable
