A leading international group are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join their team in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The client is a leading international group who have a very strong presence within their sector, they are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join their team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Description

The key duties will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, variance analysis, KPIs and commentary
  
• Producing statutory accounts and being point of contact for the Auditors
• Providing supporting data and reports for key decision making
• Uploading all monthly results, budgets and forecasts
• Working as a key member of the Management Team to execute objectives
• Leading and supporting on Projects
• Ensuring compliance across all finance processes and controls
• Identifying needs for improvement, making recommendations and implementing new processes
• Recruiting, managing and developing all directly reporting colleagues
• Ensuring team provide high level of customer service
• Providing effective business partnering to create positive relationships
• Providing support to internal and external stakeholders and customers alike.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully Qualified Accountant via ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
• Have advanced skills with MS Excel
• Have a fully competent understanding of all management accounting disciplines
• Have a great working knowledge and exposure to Accounting packages
• Be an excellent communicator in order to create positive relationships within both internal and external teams
• Be a fantastic problem solver and have a very commercial outlook
• Be confident with presenting to Senior Management and Stakeholders
• Have an update to date and full understanding of up to date legislation and global accounting practices
• Have experience leading and managing colleagues
• Be very self motivated with a strong focus on self development
