I'm working with an exciting retail business based in Cwmbran to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. The role covers aspects of transactional finance as well as management reporting and would suit someone looking to gain more exposure in this area.

Description
As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for -
- Covering the credit control function as and when required
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Pre payments and accruals
- Bank Reconciliations
- Liaising with the financial controller with regards to all things finance
Profile
To apply for the role of Assistant Accountant you will need to demonstrate -
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / CIMA
- Good excel skills
- Previous accounting / transactional finance experience
