Applications are invited for a temporary appointment as Senior Research Administrator, UCD Research Finance Office . Note: Specified Purpose Contract, Maternity Leave Cover, (Estimated duration 6- 9  months) In respect of all funded research from: Enterprise Ireland, Health Research Board; Environmental Protection Agency; Irish Research Council; the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, including COFORD; and other miscellaneous funding agencies, to take responsibility for the work distribution and delegation of tasks, to support the training and development needs of staff members and to undertake general supervision of staff. To assist in the management and control of research contracts awarded to the university from the aforementioned research funding agencies. To assist in the establishment and implementation of research accounting policies and procedures. To support the Head of Office in providing a comprehensive financial service to the research community. To deputise for the Head of Office in their absence. 2013 (2010) 95 Administrative Officer II Salary Scale: €41,418 - €53,175 per annum Appointment will be made on the scale in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
