About the role
We are seeking an experienced and team orientated Resident Field Service Mechanic to join our team based in the Riverina-Murray region to service and repair Caterpillar machinery on our customer sites stretching from Moama in the South to Jerilderie in the North. Applicants located or willing to relocate to Finley, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moama or surrounding areas will be considered.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines. You will be performing duties on various customer projects. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
About you
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
Proven experience in a similar role;
Heavy mechanical trade qualification;
Familiarity with Caterpillar Underground Equipment;
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills;
Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements;
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills;
Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment;
Ability to work autonomously in the field.
