Core Purpose of the Job:

Channel Developer is the key derivative for supporting Sale-co various sales channels by providing a set of field (on-site/non-sales) functions required for maintaining Sale-co and its partners' reach and footprint in terms of brand visibility, product availability, channel's communication, market feedback, audit, & training/knowledge transfer of products, services, campaigns/promotions that been offered through Sale-co Oman to its various sales channels.

Ultimately, the realization of Channel Developer functions shall contribute and back up Sale-co in terms of business & channel growth, enhance quality of distribution, and form a focal destination for sales channels of various support aspects.

• Assigned for field visitations into Sale-co sales channels including but not limited to: Mobile Shops, Traditional Trade, & Modern Trade merchants for performing multiple tasks/duties based on an agreed-on route(s) and visits frequency
• Collect, redistribute, and install of all approved POS materials, informative and any other merchandising items for Sale-co sales channels
• Provide timely-manner feedback, collect market info of own distribution & competition in terms of all related aspects (products availability, prices, competition actions, sales agents audit, merchants audit..etc)
• Upload and record all completed activities/functions, audit collected info, and any other survey required using Sale-co approved field force system
• Deliver and confirm the knowldgement of all news flash diffusion, planned training and unplanned info flow to assigned merchants at channel developer's route
• Work closely with sales teams for securing and fulfilling merchants requirements, coordinate for product availability assurance, raising EVD platform issues, align with concerned division for branding
• Conduct planned/unplanned surveys & audit checks on weekly/monthly basis
• Expand the channel's network size under his assigned route by enrolling prospect merchants into Sale-co distribution network
• Enhance Sale-co reach in terms of spreading campaigns/promotions under his assigned route
• Develop the count of SIM merchants by penetrating and adding up new merchants into SIM channel (MS/TT)
• Provide ongoing feedback of Sale-co's partners visibility (including branding/POSM) and do the needed replinshment based on an agreed-on guidelines


Qualifications

• Equivalent to Bachelors degree or less
• Proficiency in English, Arabic, URDU/HINDI is a plus
• Well familiar with assigned branch routes
• Valid driving license


1-2 years of working experience
