Finance/Accounting Analyst

The job is for a permanent Financial Accountant with Analog Devices International, based in Raheen Business Park Limerick. Responsibilities will include : Assist in the preparation of Monthly Accounts to strict deadlines including calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured. Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Preparation of Quarterly Schedules for reporting to Corporate Headquarters. Operation and maintenance of the Fixed Assets System on SAP ensuring compliance across all functions within the site. Ensure compliance with Sox control procedures and Corporate/Local policies and support the implementation of robust internal controls within the site. Assist in the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts for a number of reporting entities to strict deadlines. Pension Correspondence. Assist in the preparation of Annual Pension accounts. Preparation of weekly BIK calculations for payroll. Actively seek to implement continuous improvement in area of responsibility. Assist the Finance Manager in ad-hoc matters. Qualifications Hold a Business Studies/Accounting honours degree and an appropriate professional qualification in Accounting (ACA,ACMA/ACCA equivalent). Knowledge of US, Irish/UK GAAP and exposure to FRS102 would be desirable. Good working knowledge of ADI's financial systems (such as SAP) would be an advantage. Exposure to Sox. Hands on pragmatic approach to problem solving. Highly effective communicator. Highly motivated and work well on own initiative. An ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple issues simultaneously. This role would ideally suit a newly qualified accountant.
