Due to internal movement and additional projects they have a requirement for a Finance Analyst to join a well established team in Galway Your new role Your responsibilities cover various finance and analysis duties for the company, with your position being very important to ensuring all key deliverable are being achieved. The role encompasses a number of financial, management and cost accounting obligations which offers a very rounded learning experience. You will be responsible for ensuring Balance Sheets are correct, conducting variance analysis during monthly closes (P&L, COGS, Sales), managing the forecasting and budgeting process and coordinating with audit teams on financial statement preparation. You will also be assigned ownership of internal reporting requirements including management reports, cost of sales, budget and forecasting reports, and cost variance tracking. Additionally you will be setting the Standard Cost Process for the plant. What you'll need to succeed You will need a business/accounting degree and professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) , preferably trained in a BIG 4 practice with 2+ years experience in similar multi-national roles. You will have previous experience of typical of financial accounting/analysis duties and be technically sound on accounting best practices (including US GAAP and SOX). Expertise in SAP and financial management systems is essential. As the role involves working cross-functionally, you must have excellent business partnering skills and collaborative work ethic.
