Your new role
Reporting to the Company Director, you will ensure reporting and timelines are consistently met for the smooth running of the business.This varied and exciting role will see you responsible for the accounting duties in their entirety including but not limited to:

• Maintaining financial records - Payables/Receivables,reconciliations, collections, balancing.
• Overseeing weekly payroll including PAYG, superannuation and workers comp
• Providing reports to management including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Sales Reports and Cashflow
• Preparing BAS Statements
• Liasing with on site team leaders to ensure compliance with OH&S and Quality Management
• Ad hoc accounting tasks

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a solid experience and proven success in a Senior Bookkeeping/Assistant Accountant role. You will ideally hold an accounting qualification from Advanced Diploma or above and previously have worked with MYOB.
You will be a real team player and have strong work ethic with a proven ability to multitask as well as excellent communication with individuals at all levels of the business. A background in construction or other heavy industry is highly desirable.
