German Credit Controller

Working with a global accountancy team as a German Credit Controller. This is a opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the fast paced accountancy team.

Page are proud to represent this global organisation who are now looking for one sharp individual to join the accountancy team as a German Credit Controller in the London office.

Description

The key responsibility for the German Credit Controller are:

• Resolution of customer queries and working closely with the sales teams to ensure accounts are paid on a timely basis
• Ensuring escalation of older debts as appropriate
• Processing credit card payments over the phone
• Working with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure any cash allocation queries are dealt with promptly
• Processing refund requests
• Any other duties as required
• Work closely with the collections team, accounts receivable team and also the Financial Controller
• Actively contribute to the culture of excellence within the finance team

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Fluent in German both written and verbal
• Have excellent attention-to-detail and be well organized
• Driven and methodical approach to work
• Have the ability to work under pressure
• Be flexible and approachable
• Have good problem solving skills
• A "can do" attitude
• The ability to work within a global team across multiple time-zones
• Background in collections and/or accounts receivable
• Ability to resolve issues through collaboration with colleagues within the business
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills in dealing with challenging customers and/or client queries
• Proficient with Microsoft office packages and generally systems savvy
