We are actively representing an expanding local business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their team based between Huntingdon and Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
This is an extremely varied role working as part of a small team - duties include:
- Preparing accounts, budgets and financial statements
- Supporting a small team of 2 Accounts staff (Purchase Ledger and Payroll)
- Developing and implementing financial systems and policies
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
- Taking part in the development of new strategies
- Undertaking any internal audits as required
- Assisting in negotiating and obtaining finance for new projects
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Qualified or Finalist - ACCA/CIMA
- Proven track record within an Accounting and Finance environment
- Team player with a flexible attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- IT Literate, including Microsoft Excel
