Interim Accounting Manager

Varied role to manage a Treasury team of four reports. Technical responsibilities will focus around financial accounting, cashflow forecasting and reporting and SOX controls.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the implementation of a new Cashflow Forecasting tool
• Managing Cashflow Reporting to the US Corporate
• Managing bank accounts - Administration and Reconciliations
• Establishing new foreign bank accounts
• Managing weekly payment runs
• Financial accounting period end journals
• Payroll interface management
• Management of SOX Controls
• Management of Audit Queries - Internal & External
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management and mentoring of a team of four direct reports

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Have a track record of success in interim assignments and the ability to quickly add value
• Have experience with and be well versed in SOX controls and US reporting requirements
• Possess a strong, technical accounting skill set
• Have experience working within a Treasury function
• Demonstrate excellent team management skills
• Be available ideally immediately or within a maximum of one month

Job Offer

Our client are offering the opportunity to join their organisation with a prompt start date on a nine month contract. This could be offered on a salaried Fixed Term Contract if preferred over a daily rate.
