Finance Analyst

My manufacturing and production client based in the Hatfield area are looking for an Operations Finance Analyst to facilitate their continued growth and development within the market place.

There will be an expectation to provide Business Partnering & Management information to the FD and other stakeholders internally.

Description

The Finance Analyst role will be an integral part of the finance function. Some of the key duties will be:

• Overseeing the monthly/quarterly and annual forecasting (Of order intake & sales invoicing)
• Coordinating with sales leads to ensure integrity and accuracy of the CRM system to substantiate accurate forecasting
• Preparing presentations & delivering them to board directors and senior management teams
• Developing Financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision making
• Monitoring and updating key performance indicator models, highlighting trends and analysing reasons of unexpected variance to plan/forecast.
• Analysing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
• Supporting senior management team and departments heads with in depth analysis of orders, sales & GM%
• Computation of sales team commission and resolution of queries
• Communicating and providing business partner support to sales and operations
• Supporting the Financial Controller in the other ad-hoc activities as required

Profile

The successful Finance Analyst profile will

• Be Part Qualified or a Finalist
• Have 3-5 years exp in Industry & Commerce
• Have advanced Excel (V-Lookups, Macros, Pivot Tables etc...)
• Be comfortable communicating with stake holders outside of finance
• Be a Self starter
• Have good organisational skills
