Internal Audit Manager

Our client is one of the leaders in the retail industry. As they have recently acquired another brand into their portfolio, they are seeking for an internal audit manager to join their APAC team.

About the job

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be directly reporting to the Head of IA to perform internal audits for the business operations to recognize any emerging risks. Also, you will manage the compliance and operational audits to identify any opportunities to improve the procedures. Not only will you provide advice to management to streamline the operating procedures, you will also liaise with management to develop the audit plans for the business. You will monitor the execution of risk management initiatives with the audit teams across the region, and provide recommendations to decrease the risk exposure to the business.

Skills and experiences required

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Professional qualifications in CPA or CA required
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Big 4 experience required
• Experience in an internal audit position in a retail business
• Professional qualifications required - Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Experience in retail of FMCG is a plus
• Limited travelling across the region
