Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing Corporation Tax Computations
- Preparing tax disclosures for financial accounts for a consolidated group;
- Ensuring all documents are ready for HMRC.
- Dealing with group tax affairs, such as group relief, companies limited by shares and companies limited by guarantee.
- Calculating payments on account and administering payments
- Reviewing quarterly and monthly VAT return
- Performing annual tax internal audits of each business at various different locations, and reporting to senior management.
- Contributing to new and ongoing projects to ensure tax efficiency is considered.
- Ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act Regulations, and HMRC deadlines
- Dealing with queries and providing advice on both tax and VAT matters.
- Corresponding with HMRC
Profile
Ideally need to be ACA / CTA qualified with experience in practice or industry.
Need to be competent and up-to-date in a Corporate tax related role.
A willingness to learn and build on their tax experience as well as excellent communication skills are also essential.
Job Offer
