Junior Finance Analyst

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate in Economics/ Accounting/ Finance or a candidate looking for an entry level role in Finance as a Junior Finance Analyst.

Client Details

The client are a market leader in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry, based in Hoddesdon. They are currently looking to grow their finance team by hiring a Junior Finance Analyst on a temporary basis, with potential to become permanent. The role is an immediate start, and the client are seeking a candidate with a good background and understanding of Finance, as well as extremely competent analytic skills, particularly with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, if functions)

Description

As a Junior Finance Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:

• Analysis work with Excel - manipulating and extracting results from large data sets
• Possibly Fleet analysis
• Assisting with month end reporting
• Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties
• Communicating with other Heads of Departments
• Ad hoc finance duties as and when required

The ideal candidate will:

• Live locally to Hoddesdon
• Be immediately available to start
• Have strong analytic and financial background
• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Intermediate Excel skills - pivot tables, vlookups minimum
• Keen and eager to learn
