Description

As a Management Accountant, based from the Woking, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

Managing and reporting the financial performance across a portfolio of accounts including:

• Accurate production and detailed understanding of monthly management accounts and forecasts, highlighting the financial impact of key risks and opportunities

• Produce and interpret a detailed monthly reporting pack and present the financial position at monthly reviews to senior management

• Close Business Partnering, liaising with Operations, Programme/Project Managers and Project Analysts, displaying the confidence to support and challenge

• Good understanding of balance sheet control

• Management of WIP and debt balances and driving account cash collection

• Preparation of monthly actuals and rolling 7 month forecasts and the interpretation of variances from a financial, commercial and delivery perspective

• Consolidation of monthly review pack and production of financial content

Profile

• Part qualified accountant

• Experience of project accounting desirable but not essential

• Good communication and relationship building skills

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Possess high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proactive and a positive attitude

• Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Excel

Job Offer

Salary £30,000 - £40,000, Full study support package, 6% Pension, 25 days holiday, Parking and other benefits
