SAP Finance Expert

This is a newly created SAP position with a large Multi National based in South Manchester. Reporting into a Head of FP&A, you'll be responsible for developing and monitoring existing systems as well as recommending improvements.

My client are a multi-national specialist, with operations all over the world. They have a large head office function in Cheshire where they deliver high quality numbers used throughout the entire organisation.

Description

• Ownership of the reporting suite, providing innovation, updates and changes as required by the changing needs of the business

• To understand the financial systems and be an expert in how they link together

• As required plan and if necessary lead the annual forecast and budget process

• Group reporting as required

• Ad-hoc projects, tasks and support as required

• Strong liaison required between the finance and IT teams - both within the UK and Group

Profile

• A flexible approach, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to support the business and teams as is required.

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work on own initiative interlinking with the business as required

• Strong excel skills (macros, powerpivots etc. knowledge required)

• SAP, Business Objects and Hyperion - experience of report writing and designing

• Ability to work in a project environment and manage projects accordingly

• Process and reporting improvement / streamlining mindset
