Within EY's IT Risk & Assurance (ITRA) practice, we are currently seeking a Manager level professional who will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements and other related activities. This professional will manage engagement teams, as well as directly assist clients in employing information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. The successful candidate will also work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other ITRA professionals in performing information technology (IT) control and security engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the engagement team and client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and which addresses the risks inherent in the engagement.

  • Brief the audit team on the client's IT environment and industry IT trends.

  • Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and the value to be delivered.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.

  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

  • Understand Ernst & Young and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to bring value to clients.

  • Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients.

To qualify, candidates should have:

  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering and/or other related major

  • Post graduate degree in a related field (MBA preferred)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience (post-graduation) working as an auditor for a public accounting firm or have particular systems/technology experience to meet special needs

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Quality Assurance experience in Financial Services SOX clients

  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills

  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment

  • Ability to travel

  • A professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, etc. and/or CA, or be actively pursuing any of these certifications
