You'll be responsible for providing crucial finance outsourcing solutions to clients (including Finance Controller and Management Accounts services) ensuring that all work exceeds the expectations of clients and partners.

Description
The Special Projects team are dedicated to supporting their clients. Their qualified accountants and project management specialists collaborate with businesses to provide short, medium and long term solutions. They deliver bespoke outsourcing support (via staff secondments) inclusive, but not limited to, Financial Reporting, Accounting and Advisory services. They respond to the challenges of their clients with high quality, value for money technical solutions.
- Seeking out new assignments through business development activity and lead the production and presentation of proposals for new work
- Organising and attending office marketing events, being aware of the wider range of services the firm offers and suggests innovative products to address the clients' needs
- Responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
- Responsible for managing teams on specific assignments, with specific line management responsibility for a group of staff to ensure work is appropriately completed to satisfy objectives
- Working directly with clients on diverse projects (IPO's, IFRS/New UK GAAP conversions and technical accounting opinions)
- Engaging with the wider firm to create firm-wide financial reporting advisory related opportunities
- Working with clients and other areas of the business to establish an understanding of the commercial situation and financial reporting impact
- Developing and inspiring junior members of the team in their progression and delivery
Profile
- Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA
- Post-qualified experience in audit within practice
- Good working knowledge of compliance and regulation
- Financial reporting or Statutory reporting experience
- Ability to support and mentor team members
